This coffee originates from the San Vito region, Costa Rica at 1000 to 1400 meters high. This zone is known for the early ripeness of the coffee without missing the qualities of the cup. Strictly Hard Bean (SHB), soft and rich in aroma, the ripe cherries keep their characteristics due to the humidity present in the region.

Caramel flavor, a soft acidity, herbal fragrance, a rich body and a creamy chocolate note at the end characterize this unique blend.

This product is a really nice buy. The tin is very good quality, attractive, and certainly can be reused. It has an inner seal and the coffee itself is also in a separate bag, so it really does taste fresh. As for the coffee, it has a lovely aroma, and makes up into a very nice cuppa indeed. I'd describe it as medium strength. The amount enclosed is about the same as you get in most regular bags of filter coffee, but you do get the tin as well and the fact that this comes from a verifiably fair trade source in my view makes it excellent value for money.
